Necessary storage

• Clerk authentication cookies and device storage — session, security, and bot-prevention values used to protect account access. Names and duration are assigned by Clerk and can differ by browser and login method.
• theme — Your light or dark display preference until site data is cleared.
• vidify.landing.prompt — Carries a homepage draft into the studio and is removed after use.
• vidify.gpc-notice-dismissed — Remembers that the Global Privacy Control recognition notice was shown, so it appears only once.
• vidify.chat.sidebar-width — Keeps the chat sidebar at the width you dragged it to.

Optional analytics

• vidify.analytics-consent — Records your analytics choice until you change it or clear site data.
• PostHog-managed local storage — Stores an anonymous browser/session identifier only after consent.

Your choices

Use the persistent “Privacy choices” control on any page to allow or reject analytics. Vidify also treats a browser Global Privacy Control signal as a rejection of optional analytics. Browser controls can clear or block storage, but blocking necessary authentication storage can prevent sign-in. Vidify does not use advertising cookies.
