Trust and Safety

How Vidify prevents harmful use, responds to reports, and gives affected users a path to appeal.

What is prohibited

Vidify prohibits child sexual abuse material, grooming or exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive impersonation, targeted harassment, fraud, unlawful violence, malware, and content that infringes another person's rights. Attempts to bypass safeguards are also prohibited.

How we respond

We triage credible reports, preserve relevant evidence, restrict or remove content, suspend accounts, and contact providers or authorities when appropriate. Severity, context, intent, repeated behavior, and applicable law inform enforcement. Imminent danger should be reported to local emergency services first.

Appeals

To appeal an enforcement decision, reply to the notice or email [email protected] with the account, decision, and why you believe it was mistaken. A person not responsible for the original decision will review the appeal when practical.

Copyright agent

To report copyright infringement, send a notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent: [email protected].

Report content or conduct

Reports are saved with a reference number. Supplying an email lets us ask follow-up questions, but it is optional.
